From Canterbury with Love By Rose Thompson
When I was putting together this work one of my housemates came into my room. I sheepishly looked up at him and attempted to hide this quite sad exercise in organisation at the same time. He didn't say anything so I spoke first by commenting 'I bet you are wondering what am I doing', he answered simply 'curating'. Since I have been little I have dreamed of a job working in a gallery or a museum, it is only in the last 5 years or so that I realised that a job in curation was my calling and I am slowly but surely treading that slightly precarious path towards my curatorial dream. This photograph was recently published on one of my favourite blogs, Things Organized Neatly, a beautiful blog curated by Austin Radcliffe. Things Organized Neatly allows anal individuals to organise their belongings, their work equipment, their animals etc into satisfyingly neat compositions and then sharing them online with other compulsive creatures.
